David and I are the founders of the Sydney Coastal Ecovillage project and aim to draw together professionals with the necessary skills and determination to deliver this adventurous project. After bringing our family up on a sheep farm near Cooma, NSW we followed our children to Sydney and have been living here for about 10 years.

I hold the vision behind this project, which has been brewing since 1997. During this time I was employed as an accountant, working with and training small to intermediate sized businesses in Sydney and Cooma, NSW. My professional qualifications include BA Grad.Dip.Accounting CPA. I enjoy yoga, skiing, travelling, watching movies, learning new things, meeting new people and have run various events and clubs. Without singing my praises too much, I have a high level of enthusiasm and love for the project. Coupled with strong training and facilitation skills, I am well placed to co-ordinate the development process.

Dave's relevant experience to the project includes development of energy infrastructure, business development, project management, feasibility analysis, sub-division, federal, state and local government relations, managing a variety of organisational departments and committees and specialising in renewable energy. He holds a B.Science, B.Engineering (Hons) and a Dip.Corp.Management. Dave enjoys bushwalking, skiing, bike riding, kayaking, rural property and building.
