The two companies involved in the development of the Sydney Coastal Ecovillage are Utopeco Pty Ltd and Greenedge Projects Pty Ltd with an aim of drawing together professionals with the necessary skills and determination to deliver this adventurous project.

People form the Utopeco Team include: Lyndall and David Parris.
Lyndall and David live in Sydney and have formed an alliance with Greenedge Projects, the company developing the Somerville Ecovillage in Western Australia, to utilise their evolving model to develop the Sydney Coastal Ecovillage. The Somerville project is successfully moving forward and their expertise and council will be invaluable to the progress of our village near Sydney.

Lyndall holds the vision behind this project, which has been brewing since 1997. During this time she worked as an accountant, working with and training small to intermediate sized businesses in Sydney and Cooma, NSW. Her professional qualifications include BA Grad.Dip.Accounting CPA. She enjoys yoga, skiing, travelling, watching movies, learning new things, meeting new people and has run various events and clubs. Lyndall's high level of enthusiasm and love for the project coupled with her strong facilitation skills means that she is well placed to co-ordinate the development process.

David's relevant experience to the project includes development of energy infrastructure, business development, project management, feasibility analysis, sub-division, federal, state and local government relations, managing a variety of organisational departments and committees and specialising in renewable energy. He holds a B.Science, B.Engineering (Hons) and a Dip.Corp.Management. David enjoys bushwalking, skiing, bike riding, kayaking, rural property and building.
