Joy-Mozzi

I first saw the land at Narara in January, 2011 and have been visualizing our wonderful community taking ownership ever since that day. Lyndall’s untiring enthusiasm is infectious.
6 years ago I knew very little about eco villages, sustainability or permaculture. I visited a health farm in Queensland to try and regain control of my health, give up smoking and lose some weight. At the funny farm we were given raw fresh living foods to eat, a novel idea I thought. Not that I didn’t like fresh food but had not thought of it as the main part of my diet. Along the way in the last 6 years I have evolved onto this path.
Lots of delicious fresh raw foods = 20kg weight loss and feel like a spring chicken!
Hang on, where are my fruit and veggies coming from?
Oh gosh, they spray nasty stuff all over them, ship them miles and wrap in plastic.
Crikey that’s no good, I need fresh stuff but phew organic is wee bit pricy.
Home grown produce would be the answer, I had better become a gardener and I need support around me to do these things.
I joined the raw food support group and a permaculture group = like-minded people.
I would like to live in a community with like-minded people = an Eco Village.
My partner Geoff is like-minded environmentally but not on the same raw food path as me. We would like to be in a place where we can both contribute our energies & passions while appreciating our diversity = SCEV at Narara!
