I'm currently enjoying living and working in Sydney, but I can't see myself living here forever. The picture I have is raising a family amongst friendly interaction and chooks and bush land and board games and grazed knees and good food in our daily lives.
I guess it's really just that old fashioned sense of community that appeals to me about an ecovillage, coupled with the ideals of green living and sustainability. It's in no way a retreat from modern life… the ecovillage will consciously embrace modern thought and technologies to enrich our lifestyle and create new-age housing options. This is the future of modern living. I can't wait to be a part of it!
